Increase the team safety culture to meet the RIO TINTO standards : 0 incident and successfully passed the RIO TINTO maturity audit. Interface with all project's stakeholders. Implement process changes to increase the treatement capacity. At the end of the project, complete the team dismissal and the assets dismantling.

Production of Calcium Carbonates for the paper industry - 4 production sites - 120k tpy - 22 employees. 0 recordable safety incident. Supporting a Safety Excellence culture & participation. Adjustments to the market conditions : restart of the Alizay plant in 2013, revamping of the Quimperlé plant in 2013 after acquisition, shutdown and demolition of the Docelles plant in 2015. Fixed cost reduction from 27% to 50% in 8 years for french plants. 100k to 500k€/year of Capex (cooling towers replacement, upgrade of agitators, reactors, safety improvements in working at heights, rotating equipment, pedestrians protection ...) Implementation of a regulatory monitoring for EHS and social matters with support from external consultants. REACH and IED compliance. Setting-up the Operational Excellence culture : use of Hoshin Kanri, KPI, Kaizen, 5S, problem solvings, reward & recognition, 4 pillars of TPM, Gemba Walks. Led the Empowered Team training program in France; promotion and coaching of QHSE and Maintenance coordinators; setting-up technical meetings between plants for safety and maintenance.

Responsible for plant production, QEHS, Opex/Capex. 40k tpy Successful start-up of the plant extension to produce 1000 tpy of Jetcoat®30, a thixotrop & sanitized carbonate. Technical support to EU customers to gain sales. Commissioned a Fulfill® skid at the papermill premise to reduce customer's fiber cost by 2%. Problem solver : closing a neighbor vibration complaint in local court, process debottelnecking leading to a 30% capacity increase, keeping legionnella under control, 13 safety risk reduction projects implemented for 0 recordable incident, replacement of the maintenance manager. Authorization dossier approved by the DREAL to recycle the plant residus in agriculture. ISO14001 management system implemented.
