The Française Group is a major player in asset management in Europe. The group offers a wide range of investment solutions, with a strong focus on sustainable strategies. It manages around 152 billion euros in assets, and 40% of its assets are held by international clients. The group was founded in 1975 and today employs over 1,000 people. I joined the optimization and performance team of the management application of the La Française group. The aim of my role: to detect and optimize performance, as well as to propose ways of modernizing the application in line with best practice standards (clean code, clean architecture, approval testing, etc.). My mission : - Detection of performance issues (Applicatin insight, DotTrace, Dot Memory) - Optimization of the Winform .Net Framework 4.7.2 application - Modernization of components and their implementation. - Refactoring and api extractions for data access in .Net 8. - Implementation of Approval Tests to facilitate code refactoring. - Creation of dashboards in “Application insight” to detect performance problems. - Code proofreading and pull requests to monitor implementation of code best practices. SQLI is a European digital services group founded in 1990, specializing in the design, development and deployment of digital systems that create unified experiences. The group employs around 2,100 people in 12 countries. I joined Sqli as Technical lead on several .Net and Azure missions (team of 3 to 10 people). I worked for a variety of customers including Chanel, Framatome, SPA, Eduservice and Johnson & Johnson. My assignments covered the following technologies: - Dotnet Core to Dotnet 7, Blazor Wasm, Blazor Server, Aspnet Core MVC, REACT, SignalR, EF Core, Dapper, Azure, Azure Devops - Implementation of clean architecture, both simple and with the CQRS pattern. - Architecture and integration of various Azure bricks: Web app, Sql server, Storage account, CosmosDB, Event Grid, Azure function and Azure Durable function, etc. - Implementation of the Devops chain, Yaml Pipeline, Terraform Provisioning. - Ensuring compliance with best practices on both new projects and legacy code (SOLID, Design Pattern, TDD, etc.). - Set up a technical community and Kata. - Wrote several articles for Programmez magazine and the SQLI Blog. Microsoft Gold Certified and a Saagie partner, Devolis is positioned as an expert in Microsoft technologies. Context : As a subsidiary of XURA (ex Comverse), a specialist in telecommunications, NetCentrex develops complete IP telephony solutions for international telecom operators. As part of the R&D team, I'm involved in the development and maintenance of SIP and H323 message routing applications on NetCentrex's historical products, as well as on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) products for next-generation-network (NGN) architectures. The applications I'm responsible for are mainly developed in C/C++. Achievements : - Development of new requirements (Customer or Roadmap) and writing of documentation (Technical Specifications, Test Plan) - N4 and bugfix support on applications. - Development of tests for new requests or bugfixes (Python or Sipp) - Upgrade applications to RedHat Enterprise Linux 6. - Participation in the development of innovations for tomorrow's customers. - Further development of NetCentrex-specific testing tool. Project: Within the VS-CORE startup, my role was to participate in and develop the company's innovations. Achievements: - Development in C#, WPF, WCF of a supervision, monitoring and Alerting product specific to the needs of the structure and allowing the use of Mysql or SQL Server. - Continued development of an information system diagnostics product (C# and C++). - Development of an internal sales prospecting product with visualization on a Microsoft Bing map (Lightswitch and C#). - Hardware research in the context of low-consumption products with participation in the choice and validation of suitable components. The FrameIP Group, founded in 2007 by Sébastien Fontaine, is a French company specializing in networks, systems, security and telecoms services. Based in Eslettes, Normandy, it groups together five service companies in a single open space, offering a wide range of expertise to private and public sector professionals. I joined the Design Office team as a project manager engineer in network, security, IP telephony and development. My assignments : - Project management assistance for the transformation of an operator IS: Automation and industrialization of exchanges with a new customer (4500 sites in France). Coordination of the various internal players in the information system. - Expertise in the choice of network and security products for customer projects. - Coordination of experts and implementation of FrameIP audit methodology. - IT network audit and consultancy assignments: major international construction group, hospital group, IT services company specializing in the agri-food industry. - Innovation for an energy company: automatic call engine for pre-recorded messages to subscribers (approx. 4,000 calls per day). Engine development and statistics (Perl, C++, PHP) - Miscellaneous development in HTML, PHP, AJAX on an HMI overlay for the Asterisk open-source solution (configuration, user management, queue management, billing, fax, ....).
