Management of Vesuvius products (mechanical slide gates used to control the continuous casting process of molten steel in steel plants and associated mechanical systems): • Design modification (evolution/improvement/cost reduction) (CAD/Drawing/BOM). • Support and management of reported/identified problems. • Interface with a large number of people across the world. (product managers in contact with customers, engineers, suppliers, etc.). • Updating technical documentation and work files (masters, sections, etc.). • Providing technical support to teams of customer managers, sales staff and technicians who are regularly on site with customers. • Designing mechanical solutions incorporating Vesuvius products to meet customer needs and requirements. • Physical and functional integration of a complete solution into the customer's environment. (AutoCAD) • Monitoring of a subcontractor responsible for the design/build of specific equipment as part of a solution offered to the end customer.

• Design of a new product range of cage valves. (NPI department: New Product Introduction(R&D)) • CAD/Drawing/BOM/PLM • FEA/CFD calculations. • Flange and bolted joint calculations. • Use of standards. (ASME and API) • Pneumatic actuator sizing. • Writing of technical specifications in English. (Assembly instructions/calculation notes, etc.) • Participation in the prototype test campaign for the range of valves designed. • International environment. (French-American working group)

• Analysis of the state of the art, needs and existing components. • Proposal, choice of technical solutions and pre-dimensioning. • CAD/drawings/3D printing. • Validation of the prototype by laboratory tests. • Interface with the battery engineering department, a prototypist and an electronics engineer. • Discovering the environment and the various internal battery issues.
