Submium is the French platform that allows all local businesses to offer a subscription-based shopping system. From now on, you will be able to subscribe to your favorite shops and benefit from interesting discounts. https://submium.fr/ I set up this project with my collaborator in order to answer a problem that has strongly emerged in the post-covid era "the continuous development of customer loyalty". Submium was part of the incubator "La forge" in Saint-Etienne on a renewable annual program. I was responsible for the design and architecture of the technical services related to Submium with the following main missions - Design of the technical bricks o Writing the technical and functional requirements for the global project and the MVP o Service-oriented architecture (Azure) on 3 environments: Development, Validation, Production o Ensure the scaling of the infrastructure according to the load o Ensure a technology watch - Implementation of artificial intelligence systems o Definition of the data model o Implementation of data extraction and pre-processing pipeline o Modeling of traffic and habits o Development of a subscription recommendation system

For this mission, I was a Business Intelligence consultant at QD-Consulting company. I led 3 main projects during this mission. WMS upgrading project (Customer « Laboratoire AGUETTANT »). The purpose of this project is to set up interfaces between different IT systems (ERP, CRM, …) and the WMS. Summary of different tasks accomplished related to this project: • Analysis of the current information system and their interactions • Writing of technical specifications • Interfaces development with the ETL (SSIS) • Interfaces reporting with dashboards (SSRS) • Skill improvement concerning the WMS (professional course) and the different ERPs (MOVEX and Microsoft Dynamics AX) • Unit tests and testing sessions with different collaborators working with the customer C++ plugin improvement project (Customer « Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lyon ») used for geospatial data. The project’s goal is to build up an operational development environment and upgrade the plugin. Summary of different tasks accomplished related to this project: • QGIS software study (based on QT framework) • C++ plugin analysis • Build-up of a development virtual machine • Fix different plugin bugs • Plugin improvement based on the customer’s specifications (e.g. New screen (HMI) in the application) • Testing sessions with the customer Internal project of virtualization. This project is a result of a proposal that I made to the QD-Consulting’s CEO. Its goal was to build up a virtualized infrastructure to improve teamwork in the enterprise. Summary of different tasks accomplished related to this project: • Research and choice of a hosting company (dedicated server) • Research and choice of a hypervisor (VMWare ESXi 6.5) • Network infrastructure set-up (virtual router DD-WRT & virtual switches) • VPN solution implementation (PULSE VPN Connect Secure) • Outside-accessible GIT server set-up (GitLab)

This mission was made in the context of the CloudLightning project (http://cloudlightning.eu/) and the Horizon 2020 European research program (http://www.horizon2020.gouv.fr/). I was in the Cloud Computing research laboratory at the University College Cork in Ireland. Summary of different tasks accomplished related to this project: • Getting to grips with the OpenStack platform, Mesos, and Docker • Network supervision solution analysis and implementation (Snap Telemetry from Intel) • Understanding of the work already done by the CloudLightning team which contains all the information about the framework • “Self-healing” framework part implementation in Java • Work delivery presentation to the team • Writing a scientific paper concerning our work Benefits of the project: • Great improvement in my English level • Discovery of new ways to work with international researchers • New teamwork methods learned • Research community discovery • New skills in different tools (OpenStack, Docker, …) • Java development skills improvement

Ce projet est un projet d’ingénierie répondant au besoin d’une entreprise sur une thématique. Problématique : Pré-étude concernant l’implantation d’un CRM dans la plateforme AgiBusiness (ERP interne) Fonction occupée : Chef de projet Le but était de savoir s’il fallait développer un CRM « from scratch » ou alors d’intégrer une solution CRM déjà existante. Plusieurs étapes ont été nécessaires : • Expression du besoin sous forme d’un cahier des charges • Conception d’un crible synthétisant le cahier des charges • Etude de marché • Analyse comparative de 25 CRMs grâce au crible • A chaque itération un filtre était appliqué afin de réduire le choix de CRMs (exemple : compatibilité Office365) • Configuration de 2 solutions (Microsoft Dynamics CRM & VTiger) sous la forme d’un POC • Présentation des résultats du face-to-face Gestion de projet : • Méthodes Agile • Trello pour le backlog • Drive pour l’édition simultanée du crible • Réunion téléphonique hebdomadaire avec le client • Réunion en présentiel lors des jalons du projet • Gantt + Microsoft Project (avec analyse des risques hebdomadaire) Ce que ce projet m’a apporté : • Regard nouveau sur le métier d’ingénieur • Compétences en gestion de projet • Compétences relationnel (comprendre le client, trouver le meilleur compromis) • Panorama des CRMs
