To provide better quality of service, operators must continuously enhance their offerings through drive testing, a method for measuring and evaluating coverage, capacity, and quality of service (QoS) in mobile radio networks. Traditional drive testing methods, which rely on software like TEMS Investigation, are resource-intensive and costly in terms of both human and material resources. During this internship, we explored a new drive testing approach based on an Android application. Given that smartphones are now the most widely used tools for accessing operator network services, this innovation offers significant advantages. By utilizing smartphones, we streamline the drive testing process, eliminating the need for cumbersome equipment with a simple mobile application. The application we developed enables drive testing to be conducted on heavily trafficked roads as well as narrow roads, enhancing service efficiency and flexibility. • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. • Develop a mobile application for RF drive testing of mobile operator networks. • Create an API to collect raw data retrieved by the mobile application. • Store in the frequency of one second the RF Drive Test parameter in the local database • Developed a functionality to transmit to the online MongoDB database. • Tech Used: FastAPI, MongoDB, REST, Docker, Heroku, Flutter, Reactive programming(Dart), SQLite, Provider(State Management )
