Support the development teams with - Bamboo CI/CD pipelines; - Vagrant provisioning and usage; - Debug applications issues on server side Developed a script to document the entire NewRelic structure on Terraform. Some POCs using Docker and docker-compose to run Rundeck, Ansible AWX and The Foreman.

I was in charge of improving application performance. I upgraded the code base from PHP 5.5 to PHP 7.1 and the framework from Symfony 2.6 to Symfony 3.3 and then 3.4. These upgrades, alongside the migration from MySQL to PostgreSQL, allowed to a huge performance boost (up to 80%) and a huge system resources optimization.

I was in charge of DevOps strategy, such as mainly: - implement a CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins + AWS CodeDeploy - implement Puppet as provisioning solution (puppet master) using The Foreman (www.theforeman.org) - git management I worked closely with infrastructure team on server management and monitoring. I was worked on plenty of PHP projects, specially on legacy projects involving Code Igniter, as well as on some newer Symfony 2 and Laravel projects.

I was in charge of: - Manage the Google Cloud Engine servers; - Backend development (PHP: CodeIgniter and Laravel); - Frontend development (AngularJS); - Puppet server provisioning; - Jenkins + Capistrano deployment for the CI/CD pipeline; - Vagrant development provisioning using Puppet - MySQL/MariaDB administration I developed the integration with a local payment gateway (iugu.com) with callback triggers on top of Laravel 4, serving as an Restful API for the codeigniter legacy application. I developed a beautiful solution for upload of large (2+ GB) files using Laravel, IronMQ and Google Cloud Storage serving as backend for an AngularJS fronted.

Development of new features using PHP and the Symfony framework using PostgreSQL as backend database. Team leader on Rate Plan project. PostgreSQL DBA. I made possible to use the (at the time) new Symfony 2.0 framework alongside the legacy Symfony 1.3 project as part of the Symfony 2 upgrade project. I worked closely with another team leaders and the infrastructure team to upgrade from PHP 5.1 to 5.3. I contributed with some patches to Doctrine project. Designed a complete micro-service for credit card storage using AWS VPC, RDS and EC2.

Main Python trainer. Focus on personal trainning. PHP trainer for junior classes, covering from installation to small framework-less applications.

Working as Python/Django developer with some minor PHP/Symphony development, using MySQL/PostgreSQL as database backend. Scrum and agile methodologies in a daily basis, focusing on XP. I personally contributed with a lot of patches to django-oscar ecommerce framework.

PHP 5.0 development for a in-house CRM, jQuery, JavaScript, MySQL developer. Integration with a government RPC-Soap based service. Backend programming using PHP and Perl for a niche social network. Two main applications, one framework-less and one new Drupal + Magento application. I developed with a co-woker a Drupal-Magento closed-source bridge, allowing authentication and cart integration. We also developed a closed-source integration with shipwire.com. , MySQL DBA, CentOS administration. On the DevOps side: lots of server automation using bash scripts, proto-CI/CD using git and githooks. The infrastructure was composed of some OpenVZ containers on top of bare metal servers. Implementation of agile methodologies using Scrum and XP.
