Taster co-creates food brands with influencers and develops food stores that are designed for digital and physical experience. Available in the UK, France, Belgium and Nederland. As the CPTO, my role consisted in: - Developing and scaling an in-house software suite used by 200+ kitchens across 4 countries (EN, FR, NL, BE) and 7 brands. Enhanced internal processes, improved cooking and delivery experiences for Taster’s franchise network, and established a direct-to-consumer channel. - Hiring and leading a pluridisciplinary team of 15 engineers and product experts, including backend, frontend, data engineers, and data scientists, organized into feature teams led by product managers and product designers. - Defining and executing strategic plans, aligning technology development with business goals, budgets and driving operational efficiency and innovation. - Building and maintaining a robust cloud infrastructure (GCP) from the ground up to support multiple applications and microservices, including mobile (Flutter), web (React), backend (Python) and a modern data platform. Developed a cloud data platform for storing and analyzing structured and unstructured data to drive analytics and science use cases such a prediction algorithms. - Implementing direct integrations with external partners such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and financial institutions. - Drove tech strategy in investor discussions, assisting Series A (4m) and B (37m) raises with a clear product vision and scale-ready roadmap.
