At Brahmastra Aerospace Systems, I played a pivotal role in a project focused on the design and analysis of advanced aerospace components. My work primarily involved modeling and optimizing airfoils using CATIA, a skill I developed extensively during this project. By importing and processing airfoil data into CATIA, I was able to create precise 3D models essential for aerodynamic analysis. Key achievements and responsibilities include: Airfoil Design: Conducted detailed airfoil analysis, including selecting optimal aerofoil shapes based on lift and drag coefficients. Used JAVA Foil software to assess performance, leading to the selection of NACA 63A-210 for the project. CAD Modeling: Utilized CATIA software to import coordinates and develop high-fidelity 3D models of airfoils, which were crucial for subsequent aerodynamic testing and optimization. Aerodynamic Analysis: Analyzed airfoil performance across various Reynolds numbers, optimizing for high lift-to-drag ratios to enhance the efficiency of the aerospace structures. Team Collaboration: Worked closely with a dedicated team to ensure that all design and analysis activities were aligned with the project's objectives, fostering a strong collaborative environment. This experience not only sharpened my technical skills in CAD modeling and aerodynamics but also deepened my understanding of how to work effectively within a team to achieve complex engineering goals.
