My background spans software development, functional analysis, and the design of internal systems, mainly within demanding scientific and technical environments. These experiences have shaped a structured, rigorous, and solution-oriented approach. I step in where data is complex, manual processes are too heavy, or existing tools no longer meet actual needs. I have notably led projects involving the automation and digitisation of document workflows, helping modernise internal systems and lighten repetitive workloads. My goal: to make information usable and systems more fluid—whether through meteorological data pipelines, custom visualisation tools, or automation of business processes. My work is grounded in strong skills in Python, scripting (bash, shell), APIs, and data flow management. I am currently working as an independent consultant, with particular attention to listening carefully, delivering clearly, and building reliable tools.

Data Systems Specialist Acted as the national and international focal point within RMI, representing the organization in roles such as ECMWF’s Belgian Computing Representative and RMI’s official duty data distribution focal point. Managed projects to upgrade systems, improve processes, and implement new software solutions while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to meet organizational and regulatory requirements. Specialized in troubleshooting issues related to data accuracy, system performance, and technical challenges, with a strong focus on meeting operational needs. Adapted, implemented, and tailored an existing open-source software to create an end-to-end data dissemination system for RMI, ensuring seamless data flow between sources and platforms. Upgraded, maintained, and configured visualization tools to plot reliable meteorological maps using high-resolution model data. Designed, implemented, and maintained comprehensive data systems, encompassing infrastructure, software solutions, processes, and workflows, to ensure meteorological data was accessible, reliable, and actionable. Redesigned and optimized partly paper-based workflows using Jira Service Desk to streamline operations and improve processes.
