Global Business Development for Decarbonization solutions and technologies, covering Abengoa’s portfolio of hybrid power solutions, microgrids, energy storage, green hydrogen, and other low emissions technologies. My mandate also included global key account management for mining clients and large corporate accounts. I developed the Product Launch for EPC and Technical Development & Engineering Services for Hybrid Power, Microgrids, Long Duration Energy Storage Technologies and Green Hydrogen. I led and coordinated Abengoa’s BD and Proposals department to target off-grid, diesel abatement and islanded clients, and in the first year built a pipeline of 3GW (approx. €5 billion) of projects across global mining accounts, major corporates, climate accounts and islands. My results included the EPC and O&M Contract of the largest microgrid globally integrating a vanadium flow battery with solar, and the first flow battery to be adopted globally by a mining operation. I also secured engineering contracts for various microgrids incorporating long duration storage technologies and green hydrogen feasibility studies.
