Intro

I am a Conducting Officer and executive management professional specialising in building and scaling regulated investment platforms. With more than 20 years of experience across Luxembourg UCITS and AIF structures, I combine deep, edge-level education in risk and finance (CAIA, FRM, PRM; CFA Level II candidate) with hands-on execution in founding and scale-up environments. My focus is on using risk management as architecture: embedding governance, controls, and transparency directly into platform and product design so that innovation and growth are enabled rather than constrained. A defining chapter of my career was my role as Management Director and Conducting Officer at fundcraft Management, a tech-native AIFM launched to modernise management company services through automation. Joining as hire #3, I helped build the firm from inception to licensed operation, designing the operating and governance model, filing the full regulatory applications, embedding risk and oversight into a technology-driven platform, and supporting early growth through hiring, client engagement, and product development. In parallel and subsequent roles, I have acted as Conducting Officer for Risk Management, Compliance, IT, Valuation, Finance, and Administration, frequently in transformation or high-pressure contexts, including CSSF on-site inspections and accelerated fund launches. My experience spans venture capital, private equity, infrastructure, debt, real estate, and fund-of-funds structures. Alongside traditional asset management, I am deeply engaged with digital assets and crypto markets. I am an active volatility and algorithmic trader and work hands-on on risk and portfolio management concepts using Python. This keeps my thinking current, data-driven, and closely aligned with how modern investment platforms and technology-native teams operate. I am known for combining encyclopaedic technical knowledge with decisive execution—often described as a “living reference” who helps teams move faster by providing clarity in complex situations. I thrive in entrepreneurial environments where ownership, client focus, and long-term platform success matter.
