Challenges undertaken: Business function development. Adding Spring boot profiling to the project. JWT integration. Oracle wallet integration. Fixing veracode vulnerabilities. Jasper report designning. SIT, UAT, PROD configuration setup. Performance optimization of TMRW APP (United Overseas Bank Ltd: UOB) Digital Banking domain UOB acquired City Bank in Thailand, resulting in a significant influx of new users, with an increase of over 100%. Additionally, a new deployment architecture, incorporating OpenShift and Oracle Rack, was introduced in production with this project. I was a part of the APP team for the performance optimization team of the TMRW APP and PIB system. Challenges undertaken: Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise in optimizing services and architecture to meet stringent performance targets. Analyzed performance issues in the system component using Splunk. Optimized services to meet the new TCP requirement of 450, necessitated by the acquisition of City Bank in Thailand. Participated in comprehensive load, endurance, and stress tests to ensure the robustness of the TMRW APP under varying conditions. Openshift Conversion of TMRW APP (United Overseas Bank Ltd: UOB) Digital Banking domain UOB's current deployment architecture does not align with the OpenShift environment. This project addresses this issue by implementing a new platform that supports all countries where UOB operates. (For now, it is SG, TH and MY ) I am part of this core team. Challenges undertaken: Understanding the business flow. Generating codes with swagger using a code generator. ( module base ) Camel 2 Camel 3 conversation. Latest UFW conversion development. Fixing issues in all countries for UAT and SIT.

Project: USD Modernization ( BNY Mellon in USA): Banking domain Big data handle - Kafka POC There are 40 micro-services instances that are reading files and data from databases in the current system. It is reading millions of data. There was a performance issue in the current design. We did a POC using Kafka to resolve this issue. Challenges undertaken: Create the design based on the requirement. Creating file reader and JDBC source and sink connector. Running Kafka without Zookeeper. (KRaf: KIP-500) Kerberos integration with the whole Kafka platform. Consumer and producer API development in Spring Boot. Whole production onboarding was handled for Kafka on the client side. Project: App Virtualization: Payment Processor (BNY Mellonin USA): Banking domain ( Identified as Top Performer in Virtusa for this whole design and development - H2 FY21) The Payment Processor module had a set of workflows that should be executed based on input data. Also, Users wanted to add, edit and delete those workflows through a portal. Instead of building the suggested design, I suggested a new design using Camunda and bpmn.io. The design reduced the whole complexity and development time of the requirement. We were able to deliver the project within two months. Challenge undertaken: Designed and developed Camunda workflow engine microservice using Spring boot to execute the workflows based on the user's inputs. (Sample:https://github.com/dayawansha/camunda-engine-with-rest-api-intigration ) Reading complex JSON inputs and calling rest APIs without using Java Delegate classes. (Sample: https://github.com/dayawansha/camunda-service-task-with-rest-api-integration ) Designed and developed a Camunda Modeler and made some improvements based on requirements using reactJs and bpmn.io. Creating a pre-configured service in Camunda Modeler. Designed and developed a Document management microservice using Spring Boot to manage the .bpmn file in the system.
