Intro

I am a passionate programmer that has been building websites since 2018 with tools and frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind CSS and many more. At Veiðitorg I have been responsible for maintaining and developing both the web and the backend which are built with React and Node.js. Veiðitorg is an online platform for Icelandic fishing permits where the permit owners can offer and sell their permits to potential buyers. As a Senior Front-end Developer at Alfreð, I have used React, Next.Js and Tailwind CSS to implement user-friendly web interfaces for the company's website which serves as Iceland's biggest online job market platform that connects employers and job seekers. Prior to Alfreð, I worked as a Global Web Developer at Össur, a leading prosthetics and orthotics company, where I collaborated with people on a global level to develop and maintain the Össur website in its various markets and regions. Before Össur I worked as a Front-end/Full-stack developer at Origo Iceland where I used React and C# with .NET to develop web-interfaces and websites for financial institutions.
