In my role, I actively contributed to the front-end development of the university’s platforms, working with technologies such as React and TypeScript. I was responsible for reviewing and debugging code to ensure its quality and functionality. I implemented specific components, such as an interactive button for a key functionality, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience. Additionally, I integrated data from external APIs, ensuring the correct visualization and real-time updates within the platform. I also participated in designing and optimizing the features of the institution’s website, focusing on improving navigation and accessibility for users. For example, I designed and developed an interactive “Submit” button as part of the application form on the platform. This button was styled using Material-UI to achieve a professional and modern look. Its functionality included enabling or disabling depending on the validation of the user’s input. To achieve this, I integrated a custom hook that monitored the form’s state in real time. I designed a custom validation function that dynamically checked the user’s input as they typed and added an onClick handler to the button, which triggered an asynchronous function to send the form data to the server’s API. This approach enhanced the form’s usability by providing clear feedback and preventing incomplete submissions.
