Completed a 6-month final-year internship as a Powder Foundation Formulator for L'Oréal's Luxe Division, within the R&I laboratory at the Beauté, Recherche & Industries (B.R.I.) factory in Lassigny. Development of a talc-free face powder for YSL - Literature review on top-performing luxury powders, global regulatory constraints, and potential alternative raw materials. - Lab formulation work: raw material weighing, high-shear mixing, grinding, compacting, hardness and drop tests, density measurements. - Screening of 17 mica types and selection of the most promising prototypes through sensory evaluation and market comparison, leading to a product positioning map. - Validated substitute formulas have been identified for both white and tinted ranges. - Collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams (regulatory, toxicology, microbiology, process engineering).

- Research and development of cosmetic formulations (tinted mineral sun cream, colored and flavored lip balm with SPF50+, body milks, face creams, toners, etc.). - Reformulation of product composition for the purpose of improvement or adaptation to new regulations - Stability and compatibility tests + quality control - Production control: PROQUIMIA factory (Barcelona) - Meetings with raw materials suppliers (SAFIC ALCAN, Herbarom, Elementis-DKSH, COYVETER...) - Participation in workshops: Inquiaroma (with Cargill Beauty and CLR) and BASF at Barcelona

- Development of a new product (hair conditioner) for TIMOLA brand with at least one ingredient produced by Botanica - Stability test and rheology studies (pH, viscosity, texture, odor...) : cycle testing and ageing program - Reflection on product development: contact suppliers for raw materials’ orders and documentation, find an attractive packaging (+ label), establish costs, benchmarking - Mutual training with the staff: involved in the inventory, make SOPs, prepare customers orders, participate in the production of raw materials such as Botanica TIMOLA and Moringa oil
