I realized my Phd as a research engineer at LIMSI-CNRS. During this period, I worked on the national project MediaWorks project (Annotation and search platform for audio-visual documents) that tried to digitalize the video documents of the French channel TF1. Many techniques were used to analyse the content and extract the meaning of the video and index it automatically. Our work was focused on the text mining to enrich the video description with relevant metadata. Finally I implemented a retrieval engine to search multimedia information. Our specialities on this project were: - Ergonomic studies on audiovisual archivists and journalists - Design of human-computer interfaces - Metadata modelling for audio-visual contents (XML, MPEG7, RDF) - Development of a multimedia retrieval engine

During the last 2 years of my Phd studies, I also worked as a professor assistant at ENSIIE (Ecole nationale supérieure d'Informatique pour l'industrie et l'entreprise). - Java programming in practise - Software engineering - Supervision of project's development

After 10 years working on research projects and one year of commercial activities, I joined Open Data Consulting (http://www.OpenData-consulting.com) as the CTO. In ODC, we are following the main Open Data platforms to test, store and reuse data in business contexts. For this, we are transforming Open Data in qualitative way to publish them as Linked Data. Based on this knowledge engineering activities, we help small companies to reuse Open Data to enrich their business activities and we offer services to open and share their own data to increase their commercial potentialities. In this context, we design data models based on Semantic Web recommendations and we develop different kind of web applications focused on the data publication, integration and reusability: - Open Data platform (Drupal) - Smart commerce and marketplace (Drupal commerce) - Editorial platform for Journalism (Drupal) - Linked Data platform (Drupal, Arc and Sesame) - Semantic Web infrastructure (Sesame, Jena, Owlim, Virtuoso)

I started a freelance experience to propose web solutions for SMEs based on Open Source projects. During this period, I developed different kind of websites for small companies and offered SEO services: - Professional websites (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal) - eCommerce websites (Drupal commerce, Prestashop) - Intranet (Drupal) - ERP (dolibarr, OpenERP) I also joined 2 Startup programs to learn how to develop business projects and build my own company. - Startup Pirates for social entrepreneurship - Emprendedor XXI for digital innovations (Barcelona Activa)

Member of the Knowledge Lab of the ATOS Research and Innovation area, I was involved in many European projects around semantic web technologies (FP7 program): IntelLEO project (Intelligent Learning Extended Organisation) Technical responsible, I was in charge of the project management tasks, design of the software architecture, ontology modelling and development of web services to find linked data in an educational context. NeON project (The IDE for ontology engineering) - development of the demonstration web application to search information through a huge knowledge base - Ontology modelling and alignment for medical resources Khresmoi project (Multilingual multimodal search and access system for biomedical information and documents) - Software chief architect of the cloud infrastructure for the Khresmoi search engine - Ontology modelling for query processing

I worked in the Edelweiss Team as a research engineer on the European project SevenPro (Semantic virtual engineering environment for product design). My specialities on this project were: - knowledge engineering for 3D and CAD entities (RDF, RDFS, OWL) - implementation of rule-based techniques for dynamic reasoning - development of reasoning module (with SPARQL) to integrate the functionalities between the semantic engine (CORESE) and the Virtual Reality system (VDT)
