Technical acceptance team. Running controlled volume test jobs on production and developer internal software for stress and performance measurements, mainly under Oracle and RedHat. Also in charge of test environment administration. Main tasks: • Preparing test scenarios • Installing releases (Linux Redhat, Oracle PL/SQL, Weblogic) • Running performance testing scenarios • Measuring database performances (PL/SQL code,SQL queries) • Investigations on queries performances issues (analysis of AWR reports, analysis of queries execution plan, etc)

Monitored and executed day-to-day activities on the existing Unix Infrastructure. Provided technical support in the investigation and resolution of system issues. Worked closely with application teams on the business requirements and participated in the design and the development of robust systems. Assessed and recommended architectural design and changes in response to business and technical drivers. Acted as second level support for day-to-day problem resolution. Applied disaster recovery, backup, general security processes based on defined policies. Supported and deployed infrastructure middleware software under WebSphere and IBMIHS. Designated focal SME for UNIX logical access, provided technical support to LDAP/NIS+/ITDS infrastructure, user accounts and home directories under NFS. Fluent day-to-day communication with customer and international teams on bridge calls, email and chatting. Worked on hardware cases and scheduled changes during normal and on-call hours.

Monitored and executed day-to-day activities on the existing Unix/Wintel infrastructure. Datacenter operator for daily tasks like server assembling, deployment, installation and maintenance. Monitored, deployed and maintained ethernet networks, appliances, routers and cabling. Worked on security policies and maintained Active Directory domain. Monitored, deployed and maintained network services like Squid, IPtables, DNS, DHCP, NFS and SAMBA under Debian and Slackware. LAMP administrator for public and private webservers under RHEL, deployed Qmail mailserver and BIND public DNS under Slackware and netBSD respectively. Worked as Help desk during idle hours for all Windows/Office applications and also Maintained PC's and Printers. Backup and restore focal with automated open source tools.
