In my current role at QNB, I ensure end-to-end observability of the bank’s core IT systems. I utilize Dynatrace to implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting across critical banking applications. By building custom Dynatrace dashboards and alerts, I enable proactive root cause analysis and rapid incident response for transaction processing and ATM networks. This tight integration of monitoring and automation helps minimize downtime during nightly batch runs and high-traffic periods. I managed Dynatrace monitoring and administration for QNB’s core banking and ATM systems, creating real-time dashboards for application performance and automated root-cause analysis. I proactively monitored workflow automations (via Autosys) and critical banking processes (EOD/EOW/EOM/EOY jobs), detecting failures or response-time degradations ahead of business-critical cycles to ensure seamless end-of-day processing. I orchestrated incident response and escalations, quickly routing alerts to application and infrastructure teams. By leading post-incident root-cause investigations and reports, I helped tighten our monitoring rules and improve mean-time-to-recovery for our banking services. I published maintenance notifications and performance reports for stakeholders, communicating the status of system upgrades and metrics (e.g. transaction volumes, ATM uptime, SMS gateway health) to support operational planning. I ensured uninterrupted banking IT operations by tuning alerts on key KPIs and enabling real-time visibility into transaction flows, supporting 24/7 customer service in Qatar’s largest bank.

As an APM-focused engineer at i2c, I oversee the observability and security of high-volume payment platforms. I administer Dynatrace monitoring across our cloud infrastructure, translating performance data into business insights. I also lead our log management and vulnerability management efforts: for example, I conduct regular Nessus vulnerability scans to identify and prioritize security weaknesses. By automating monitoring workflows (using Dynatrace APIs, Bash/Python scripts) and optimizing our capacity planning, I help scale i2c’s payment solutions while keeping them secure and performant in the competitive fintech landscape. I administer Dynatrace APM end-to-end for payment processing applications, developing dashboards and alerts for real-time root cause analysis and performance tuning of APIs and services. I collaborate with Dynatrace support in weekly meetings to fine-tune our monitoring setup, driving upgrades and resolving complex performance issues before they impact customers. I implemented centralized syslog aggregation and reporting, consolidating logs from multiple services to improve observability and streamline incident troubleshooting. I led capacity planning and CIS reporting, forecasting system load and infrastructure needs to ensure our platforms meet growth targets without performance degradation. I managed Dynatrace Application Security scans and Nessus vulnerability assessments, analyzing findings to remediate risks and strengthen our security posture. I automated monitoring tasks and reporting with Dynatrace APIs and custom Bash/Python scripts, increasing efficiency in incident detection and enabling continuous monitoring automation. I participated in the company’s Vulnerability Assessment Committee and evaluated emerging observability tools, ensuring our monitoring practices stay aligned with fintech best practices and regulatory requirements.

Gained handson experience using Kali Linux for ethical hacking and penetration testing tasks. Utilized Wazuh SIEM for log analysis, alert management, and security event correlation. Proficient in Dynatrace Application Security for realtime thirdparty and codelevel vulnerability detection. Employed Metasploit to exploit vulnerabilities, conduct penetration tests, and verify security defenses. Conducted network scanning and vulnerability detection using NMap and ZenMap to map network infrastructures and identify open ports. Used Aircrackng to perform wireless network testing and evaluate network encryption strength.
