- Participating in DevOps activities for Sagemcom’s smart metering software (SICONIA). - Contributing to integration platform enhancement by designing a GitOps solution using containers and Kubernetes. - Assisting in the definition and refinement of CI/CD pipelines to support multi-platform deployments using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and infrastructure-as-code tools. - Participating in the design and setup of an end-to-end automation solution for the SICONIA suite using an existing IaC project based on Ansible and Bash scripts - Enhancing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting failures, and optimizing performance—resulting in a 60% reduction in deployment failures - Improving the IaC configuration management system by implementing intelligent checks to support the migration and evolution of modules and microservices—enabling backward compatibility and reducing the need to maintain separate playbooks. - Designing and implementing a GitLab maintenance strategy for the IaC repository using branches, tags, and releases to enable proper change tracking and version control accross clients and teams - Supporting the DevOps team in task prioritization and contributing to documentation efforts, including technical procedures, flow matrices, and maintenance guides

My summer internship at Tunisie Telecom was enormously beneficial both theoretically and practically. In fact, this experience gave me an idea of the functional organisational structure of this company. What's more, during my placement I was able to learn about a lot of technical aspects, especially the equipment and architecture of the telephone network and how it works.
