Florine Koddy

During my field practical training at the Tanzania Bureau of Standards, I gained hands-on experience in software development, hardware troubleshooting, and system maintenance. I assisted in coding and testing small-scale applications to support internal processes, contributed to updating and maintaining computer systems, and helped ensure smooth operation of both hardware and software infrastructure. I also collaborated with the IT team to diagnose technical issues, perform routine maintenance, and provide support for software installations and upgrades. This experience strengthened my passion for coding and deepened my practical knowledge of maintaining secure, efficient IT systems.

As an IT Help Desk field student at the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority, I supported daily technical operations by assisting users with troubleshooting software issues, resolving hardware problems, and ensuring smooth system functionality. I handled user requests, diagnosed technical problems, and provided timely solutions to maintain productivity. In addition, I gained practical experience in basic networking tasks, including setting up network connections and supporting communication systems. This role strengthened my ability to solve IT-related challenges and improved my communication and problem-solving skills in a professional environment
