– Support Project Managers in the different phases of their projects by: – Facilitates and assists in the preparation and drafting of technical specifications and the draft contract; – Facilitates, assists in the preparation and development of risks; – Ensures that contractual documents and risks are updated; – Responsible for interfacing with the contracts, Claims and Risk Manager regarding contractual and payment milestones and the preparation of delivery certificates, notices to proceed; – Ensures that insurance is up to date in consultation with the Insurance department; – Facilitates and assists with the after action review of the project. – Optimize efficient and effective project management by: – Support and provide necessary and additional education and training in the area of contract management; – Optimization of procedures and instructions related to contract management (in close consultation with the various stakeholders); – Optimize available tools and, if appropriate, develop additional tools; – Ensure transparent communication and encourage open dialogue within the "Contract Management" team as well as within the project teams; – Ensure a process of continuous improvement; – Share and exchange contractual experiences with other departments (Fleet, Tractebel (TE) and other power plants.
