As a member of the payment processing team, I designed the new software architecture to speed up payment APIs, switching from a synchronous model to a queue-based evented one, using a Go / Kafka / SQS / PostgreSQL tech stack. I then took part in its actual development, as well as a refactoring of 3DS 2 payments across microservices. I also took part in the architects team working on establishing i18n practices across the company. Along with mentoring fellow software engineers in the backend guild, I delivered a number of talks and presentations on Go development topics, from language changes and best practices to actual development techniques for specific unusual topics like SMTP.

I redesigned some APIs to speed them up and reduce AWS cloud resources use at the same time, and introduced the load shedding architectural pattern to preserve optimal response times under load.

Design national networks and distributed applications: - distributed statistics data entry for the Ministère de l'Agriculture (1990-2000) - IPX/SPX/IP network for the Centre National d'Etudes Vétérinaires et Alimentaires (1994-2000) Write device drivers: avionics card (Arinc 429) for PC, data acquisition card (DT1492) for Sun/Solaris Provide technical assistance to the server design team for multiprocessor servers. Perform the company management tasks: answer RFPs/public tenders, purchase, find new suppliers, prepare accounting and tax information.

Teaching MS (engineer) students about network programming : network API (sockets, streams, TLI), transport protocol properties.

Help system administrators under hacker attack protect their systems. Lead research projects in computer security: risk assessmment software, EMC/EMI analysis, Tempest zoning, RF digital signal processing.
