Led the development of a new Chinese entertainment website combining China’s first free online lottery concept and other subscriber based games together with targeted direct marketing tools, advertising, CRM and database management. The project required a high degree of understanding of Chinese online consumer market behavior as well as the ability to successfully translate and adapt a proven Western internet model into the Chinese internet market. - Managed a team of developers and designers while also providing concept leadership and guidance to the marketing team - Successfully built traffic exceeding 6 million page views in less than 6 months - Built a fully integrated ad serving/tracking capability to optimize advertisements revenues

The target of the project was to develop a brand new management system for casino machines. This complete new and innovative system allowed big casinos like the MGM Ground in Las Vegas to change the location of specific games to optimize incomes. My primary objective was to find the technologies needed to achieve these goals, build the team and manage the 2 years project. Technology and operations scope included: OS technology embedded inside casino chips; real-time management for 10,000 slot machines, jackpot handling from multiple sources, systems to follow players’ movement’s within the casinos; RFID chips management; facial recognition at the front doors; automated fortified chambers handling.

Main mission was to analyze the whole EC networks to find any leak in the security then propose the best solutions to address them. Computer park was 25 000 computers and two Cray II super computers. Second mission was to analyze the web servers/proxies needs for the different departments. This led to a major restructuring of all the web infrastructure for the EC, switching from Netscape servers to Apache and reverse proxying, increasing both the traffic and the content capability for the European Commission. - Allow the European Commission to greatly increase their network security, protecting both personal computers and critical/private information. - Greatly improve the whole EC internet presence by switching the software infrastructure to open-source based solutions. Was a key asset in new technology analysis for the European Commission.

In charge of developing new Internet web site based on credit card validation through Visa network. Developed one of the first “real-time” validation systems on the internet. Web site created generated around 20 000$/day after 6 months, around 5 million users. Utilized different technologies (SQL,ASP,Perl,CGI, Transpac communications) and platforms (NT ASP, Linux Apache/php). - Built a web solution in less than 6 month from scratch that generated a 20,000$/day revenue stream. - Leader for every new technologies developed (online banking, transpac visa network communications)
