Engineering Leadership & Architecture | Marriott Enterprise EcosystemStrategic Team Scaling: Spearheading a high-performing engineering team of 12 (expanding from 8) to deliver mission-critical integrations within the Marriott global hospitality ecosystem. Global "Source of Truth" Architecture: Engineering a high-availability, distributed database solution for Marriott hotel folios (billing/checks), creating a unified, single "Source of Truth" for all global downstream services. Reactive Systems Design: Leveraging Spring Webflux and Kafka to build non-blocking, event-driven pipelines capable of real-time financial data ingestion at an enterprise scale. Cloud-Native Orchestration: Architecting and managing enterprise-grade deployments on AWS EKS and Kubernetes, utilizing Docker to ensure zero-downtime availability and horizontal scalability for core hospitality modules. NoSQL Performance Optimization: Implementing Couchbase Capella to manage high-throughput document storage, ensuring sub-millisecond consistency for millions of hotel transactions across the Marriott world.Enterprise Integration: Designing scalable integration patterns to bridge fragmented property systems into a centralized, modern architecture, improving data accessibility for downstream analytics and financial reporting.
