Intro

My two main areas of competencies are Software Engineering/Architecture and Team/Project Management. Management I can recruit and manage the tech team (developers, leads, QAs, etc.) required to execute the roadmap co-conceived together with the product department. Deeply inspired by my years in Sweden, I build cohesive and high performing teams by : Establishing a climate of mutual respect and transparency, Setting clear and realistic goals and expectations both at the team and individual levels, Encouraging ownership, I also emphasize the importance of team members’ wellbeing and development as well as employer flexibility to meet team members’ daily life. Convinced that good software can only be built by working closely with the end user, I am always keen to develop close bonds with the business departments and stakeholders. It helps ensure that the roadmap and the delivered solutions reflect and solve business challenges as pragmatically as possible. Tech I specialise in the architecture, design and development of enterprise grade solutions that are simple, scalable and maintainable. I rely on domain driven design to clearly articulate and express the requirement needs, and then strictly follow dev-ops guidelines to reach full customer satisfaction. Wherever applicable, I use TDD and clean architecture to ensure testable, reliable and evolutive code. Specifically you'll find me proficient in: * Architecture of monolith applications, orchestrated macro-services or event-driven micro-services * Definition of complete end-to-end specification tests * Conception of multilayered front-end applications with React * Implementation of fast and clear client-server communication with GraphQL schemas, HTTP REST routes, WebSockets or gRPC transported protobuf messages. * Building of NodeJS/Go/Python servers and back-end services * Fluent in Javascript and Typescript, intermediate in Go and Python * Manipulation of data with MongoDB, PostgreSQL and more * Implementation of efficient local development stacks with Docker and Docker-Compose * Deployment of useful logging, error reporting and performance monitoring tooling * Building efficient integration and deployment pipelines. * Serious experience with AWS, intermediate with GCP
