Currently, I am working as a Finance Director at Alstom, where I handle the statutory / IFRS accounting, reporting, project controlling, financial planning, treasury. Highly focused on cash generation and cost control i am managing a P&L + 280M € revenue managing 5 direct report with a total Finance team of 20 HC.  Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, costing, and analysis activities.  Lead the margin (GM) review process at country level supporting the operations to identify opportunities of GM improvement.  Oversee the monthly/quarterly/ yearly closing process and ensure that the reporting instructions are applied on time.  Lead the monthly business review meeting with region management, explaining the key drivers (Order, sales, GM, S&A, EBIT, cash in, Cash Out, overdues).  Lead and develop the finance and accounting staff by implementing strong finance process and reviewing the finance organization set up.  Perform the balance sheet review on a monthly basis.  Lead the yearly internal control certification.  Establish reports to support the company’s management to drive profitability by controlling costs and give visibility on treasury and other major KPI.  Support operations in ad hoc projects (Structuring of LC), business plans (Industrial project - JV's).  Lead the change in revenue recognition method (IAS11 to IFRS15) at country level by implementing the group guidance and instructions.  Manage the working capital with close monitoring of AR overdues.  Participate to restructuration of the affiliates to adapt the cost structure to the size of the business.  Support the local JV as needed in financing of deals.  Be the guardian of the rules and ensure the compliance with the group policies.
