Contributed to cyber attack analysis and protection projects. Participated in strengthening system and network security through infrastructure hardening (FortiGate, segmentation) and deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR). Performed threat-hunting activities including attack simulation, IOC analysis, and phishing campaign simulations.

Development of an AI Model for Network Intrusion Detection Description: Designed a hybrid CNN-DNN model from scratch to enhance intrusion detection and identify zero-day attacks. Integrated convolutional layers for improved feature extraction, with advanced data preprocessing (encoding, normalization, and class balancing using ADASYN). Achieved 92% accuracy on the NSL-KDD dataset, reducing false positives by 15% and reaching 90% recall for complex attacks.

Strengthened network security and performance by administering and configuring a pfSense firewall. Analyzed security needs and defined filtering rules to optimize network traffic. Implemented and configured a pfSense firewall with a captive portal to control network access. Configured and supported workstations, including the installation of operating systems and software based on user needs. Provided user support and resolved technical incidents (hardware and software).
