Hassan Hamchichi

Intro

I'm a backend developer with an unusual edge: a Bachelor's in English Studies (Linguistics) and hands-on experience in hospitality, teaching, and academic research. a combination that goes beyond code. I build web applications using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and REST APIs, with a strong focus on clean architecture, security, and maintainable solutions. My academic foundation in linguistics has sharpened my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity, skills that directly translate into writing better code and collaborating more effectively within teams. Beyond development, I bring real-world experience in international hospitality, where I worked with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds in a luxury desert environment, delivering high-standard service and managing operations with professionalism and composure. I also have experience teaching English to students of varying levels, which has strengthened my ability to explain, adapt, and lead. What sets me apart is the intersection of technical ability and human understanding. I approach every project not just as an engineering challenge, but as a solution that needs to work for real people. Currently completing a Backend Development Bootcamp at Simplon Maghreb × jobintech, and actively seeking opportunities in backend development, education, hospitality, communication, or any environment where curiosity, language, and people skills are valued, where I can grow, contribute, and bring a unique perspective to the team. 📍 Morocco | 💻 PHP · Laravel · MySQL · Git · Agile 🌐 Arabic (Native) · Tamazight (Fluent) · English (Fluent) · French (Intermediate)
