Engineering internship in Machine Learning using Bayesian Networks and their applications in the financial projects. During my engineering internship I worked on two big parts : First with the R&D department of CAPACITES and the DUKe cell of LS2N Lab, I worked on : • Adding a discretization method based on clustering with Gaussian Mixtures Model to the library Pilgrim and adapting all the learning methods to work with continuous variables. • Add new Bayesian learning methods and graphs exploration methods • Apply Bayesian learning in different cases some of them are simulated benchmarks to test the accuracy of the learning process and the exactitude of the discretization results, and real dataset as Financial well-being to test the performance and establish comparative studies. Second part was my work with clients of CAPACITES as the startup Robankhood, my missions were : • Understand the trading business, the different variables and constraints • Get the data, explore it, clean it, and discretize it • Apply the graphical probabilistic models to predict the stock variable • Deliver test and results reports
