Image Analysis using X-Ray Tomography: During this internship, I will be working on the analysis of X-ray tomography images of lithium batteries that underwent progressive mechanical degradation. My role will involve: Characterizing different materials and understanding their behavior under normal and abusive mechanical loading conditions. Applying image analysis techniques, including Digital Volume Correlation (DVC), image segmentation with tools like Fiji, and AI-based algorithms (machine learning and deep learning) to analyze microstructures. Collaborating with experts in electrochemistry, mechanics, and artificial intelligence to enhance the performance and electromechanical stability of new battery materials.
