– Managing the Finance and Tax function and reporting directly to the CEO & CFO. Role involved the responsibilities of having internal controls to ensure operating effectiveness, accurate results, controlling the costs, Compliance, and achieving the annual targets. – Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including for each Business Unit. – Responsible for Cash flow management, by preparing rolling Cash flow Forecast for next three months, to ensure that sufficient funds are maintained for uninterrupted operations. – Preparing Annual Budgets for each Business Units, and Actual Results are Compared by tracking the progress on each month, and forecasting each Business Unit every quarter for achieving the Targets. – Ensuring Compliance of Taxation and other regulatory requirements. – Renewing the Banking Facilities, and coordinating with Banks for the utilization of banking facilities by keeping the Financial Cost at minimum. – Assisting the External Auditors for timely completion of the Audit of Financial Statements. – Reviewing the Costing Sheets of the project, and comparing them with actual results on their completion, alongwith ensuring that revenue and costs are recognized in compliance to accounting standards. – Compiling and presenting monthly results according to Business Unit, Product Domain, Customer, Jobs, and Key Account Manager. – Ensuring the recoveries from Customers, and timely Invoicing to Customers in compliance to the agreements. – Assisting the CFO for compiling, consolidating and preparing the consolidated results of all entities. – Summarizing the reports and presenting the reports using Power Query (Excel) and Power BI.

– Spearheading end-to-end Accounts & Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, Material Planning, and Import/Exports functions. Reporting directly to the CEO & CFO and dealing with external stakeholders. Role involves preparing and presenting monthly & annual financial statements ensuring successful closure of books. – Providing leadership and guidance to the team in accurate recording of all accounting entries. Registering the UAE Company with tax authorities and other regulatory authorities like Civil Defense, Environment Department, etc., along with designated zone registration for excise tax in UAE. Formulating/reviewing annual budgets every month and presenting forecasted P&L and cash flows on a bi-annual/annual basis. Comparing actual expenses against budgets on a weekly/monthly basis. – Ensuring proper maintenance of all accounting and tax records and compliance of VAT and excise tax on each transaction. Preparing, reviewing and filing monthly sales tax & excise returns and quarterly VAT, with Federal Tax Authority. Assisting external Auditors in conducting a statutory audit of financial statements. Tracking cash flows daily and sharing it with budgeted Heads ensuring the adequacy of funds for continued operations. Identifying areas of higher costs and suggesting alternatives accordingly. Skillfully analyzing material wastages each month through inventory/stock monitoring/checking during month-end. Estimating costs and suggesting pricing based on the same. – Devising the Internal Controls over payments, day to day expenditures, purchases, and on Inventory to ensuring smooth operations and reporting. – Key role in calculating product costs on a monthly basis for each SKU. – Overseeing import of machinery and material and export of finished goods in close coordination with Free Zone customs. – Collaborating with Clearing Agents for import and export shipments.

– Assisted the Line Manager in management reporting, finalizing accounts, budgeting, forecasting, legal compliances, accurate bookkeeping, etc. – Handled reporting by different CGUs. Guided a team in preparing and monitoring assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Prepared accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with established schedule/s and with inputs from the rest of the Accounting department. Conducted monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Analyzed financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the leadership's attention. Reviewed all company transactions and generated invoices as necessary. Reconciled balance sheet accounts. – Performed month-end/year-end close, financial statement preparation, and budget variances. Assisted the leadership in resolving variances and determining pricing for services to be offered. Prepared and assisted with general ledger (journal entries) analysis and analyzed and assisted with the month and year-end reports. Reviewed and assisted with monthly bank reconciliations. Assisted the External Auditors with Statutory Audits.

– Led the team in carrying out quality control reviews by ICAP of audit engagements. Conducted audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completion. Prepared business proposals for acquiring new customers.
