Héritage, an SME marketing cleaning products across three main sectors: laundry, housekeeping, and household products, along with eight authentic brands for laundry care, surface and floor cleaning, and household maintenance for more sustainable consumption: Baranne (shoe & leather care), Bonux (laundry detergent with a gift), Décap'Four, Minidou (fabric softener range), Miror (household products), O'Cedar (wood surface care), Vigor (surface and floor care), Terra. My responsibilities during this internship: Research & Development: from brief to finished product. Project Management: 360° for ongoing projects and 2026 innovations. Quality: production control, customer relations. Regulatory: certifications, audits, and implementation of new regulations in force. bilum, a creative house and upcycling manufacturer, gives a second life to materials destined for the bin. They design bags and accessories from tarpaulins (event banners, tennis backdrops, train station signage, etc.), textiles (from trade shows, gendarmerie jackets, firefighter gear, etc.), and other unusual fabrics (hot air balloon canvas, airplane seat covers, blinds, etc.). My responsibilities during this internship: Project management. Project management from drafting the contract/quote with the client through to production and quality control before delivery. Acting as the guarantor of adherence to the agreed timeline and costs. Commercial Department: - Prospecting in the field and through networks of advertisers, media operators, and media companies. - Holding discussions and developing projects with clients via email, calls, and in-person meetings. - Co-designing and shaping prototypes with the sewing team and the client. - Creating project sheets to ensure cross-department tracking between production and post-production teams, keeping the client informed at each stage. - Organising any social media publications related to the operation (for both the client and bilum). Technical Department: - Building a material database detailing types of tarpaulins, printing methods, and drying processes — a cross-functional task linked to ongoing projects. - Conducting interviews with printers to understand how tarpaulin prints deteriorate. Within the company, I learned to be: Autonomous (managing the commercial department with the support of the founder), Proactive and Solution-oriented (ensuring alignment between deadlines and the production schedule, proposing designs to clients based on available materials and surfaces), Willing and Pro-active (helping in production and communications when needed), and Responsible (handling entire projects independently, where clients, suppliers, and my team relied on my organisation).
