Responsible for assisting and directing customers/clients, monitoring incoming inquiries and ensuring proper point of sale processes were followed. Outstanding customer service in this position was essential.

Sanders Lab (Community Ecology) at University of Tennessee-Knoxville • Among general lab duties, I was an integral part in multiple publications such as “The effects of herbivory, nutrient availability, and plant invasion on community structure and function above and below ground.” Wright P, Cregger MA, Souza L, Sanders NJ, Classen AT (In review). And “Soil nitrogen amendments and insect herbivory alter above and below ground plant biomass in an old-field ecosystem.” Blue JD*, Souza L, Classen AT, Schweitzer JA, Sanders NJ (2011). For these specific studies, I helped out in the field on various occasions measuring, labeling, extracting plant biomass, and bagging. In the lab I was part of the initial data analysis and discussion of the early findings and trends, as well as the implications of what we found.
