<p>How I Collaborated With an Art Director to Shoot for a Rebranding Project</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>I had completed a few simple photography assignments for the New York School of Interior Design. Chris Spinelli, the school’s art director, thought that he would like me to work with him to create the school’s view book, their primary marketing publication.</p><p></p><p>I had to create a range of images: interiors and exteriors of the school and classrooms; posed portraits so that the subjects looked natural and relaxed; candid shots showing the learning process and highlighting the interaction between professor and student; capture in a journalistic manner, students in action; hallway shots; portraits of alumni in their business surroundings without disrupting their usual workflow.</p><p></p><p>Chris reports that the NYSID administration and the alumni are thrilled with the results. &nbsp; He added that “one of our board and faculty members commented that it was the best piece he had seen produced by the school in over 20 years.”&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/cmf01pjltqopa5vdpbpwy3cwa.jpg"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/cmf01ouervafe5xffgnszfzio.jpg"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/cmf01ppffvgaf5vh1bffe3dvy.jpg"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/cmf01uq80vhjx5vh189ka9s6m.jpg"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div><div class="image-container"><div class="image-row-wrapper"><div class="image-wrapper"><img src="https://cdn.collective.work/cmf01uv3gvhlh5vh127hl2paq.jpg"><div class="image-overlay"></div></div></div></div>
