Hamburg is the largest Airbus site in Germany (12,000 employees), where one of the 3 Final Assembly Lines for the A320 family Aircraft is based. Among the activities carried out on site are cabin definition, development and production of the forward and aft fuselage sections, equipment of the fuselage sections with all flight-essential systems, interior furnishing, painting, delivery to customers. As a member of EADS' 2012 "PROGRESS" management development program, I am part of the management of a team dedicated to A320 forward section production and equipment. My tasks are divided into 2 main parts: - Production activities: within rework team SNZ (Prep., blue collars and quality), work order preparation (team leader) and continuous follow-up among 40 Aircrafts to be delivered monthly. Daily performance meeting and quality gates set-up. - Program activities: set up of a visual and exhaustive production room; daily and weekly Performance communication to SA Program (Scope: Hamburg, Toulouse, Tianjin); Performance improvement projects for FAL Hamburg and Toulouse. Reduction of NC by 50%, reduction of OSW by 60%. Productivity improvement and respect of FAL quality gates
