I have joined the Infrastructure team at Monoprix, where I hold the position of Cloud Architect. At the heart of my mission, I work closely with the teams at Monoprix and Casino to orchestrate the migration of our current cloud infrastructure, hosted on Azure, to Google Cloud. This complex process requires meticulous planning, smooth coordination between teams, and careful execution to ensure a seamless transition and uninterrupted data integrity. In addition to this, an important part of my role is to develop technical architecture documents. These documents are crucial for defining the parameters and specifications for replacing certain applications within the technical environment of Monoprix. This involves a deep understanding of the current systems, accurate identification of future needs, and the selection of the most appropriate solutions to enhance our operations and achieve our strategic objectives.

During the period marked by COVID, I had the opportunity to join the production team at La Stime. During this time, the lockdown led to an increase of over 50% in traffic on our e-commerce sites, a surge that our original infrastructure was not prepared for. As an active member of the team, my role was to work closely with La Stime's Cloud Architect to propose innovative solutions to improve and optimize our production infrastructure. Our goal was to efficiently handle this sudden spike in traffic while ensuring a smooth and trouble-free user experience. Furthermore, I was involved in strengthening the security of our GKE workloads. This included the addition of a Secret Manager, an essential tool for managing credentials, tokens, and secrets. This initiative was crucial for securing our sensitive resources and data, while ensuring centralized and secure access management. In summary, this position allowed me to make significant improvements to our infrastructure in real-time, while meeting the challenges posed by a constantly evolving environment and unprecedented demand.

I supported the GL teams both in architecture and coaching in the Cloud/DevOps domain. I designed the Cloud architecture within the Kubernetes/GKE scope. And I mentored the GL teams as a Cloud/DevOps coach. The GL team aimed to take over the new Kubernetes-based infrastructure in production. As a coach, I contributed to the skill development of GL employees on Cloud and DevOps topics. I also played a facilitator role and acted as an interface between the external team (Publicis Sapient), which was responsible for the architecture and build, and the internal GL team that later took over the operation of the GKE production platform.

As a Tech Lead DevOps, I joined the production team at Carrefour to work on migrating the old VM-based infrastructure (Azure, Openstack) to a container orchestrator based on Kubernetes. At the beginning of the mission in late 2017, there were few people in the market with a strong level of Kubernetes expertise. Amazon's first managed EKS service was released in November 2017. Therefore, I worked on manual deployment, relying heavily on documentation and by reading and analyzing the Kubernetes project's source code. I conducted several POCs to familiarize myself as much as possible with the Kubernetes project and its concepts.
