Redesigned and implemented a RESTful API in Java (Spring Boot) to replace an older PHP module responsible for checking medicine-allergy contraindications. The new service accepted JSON requests from the PHP frontend, processed the patient's medication data, and returned potential allergy risks in real-time. Handled integration with the internal EHR database, mapping drugs to known patient allergies and known interactions using Spring Data JPA and MySQL. Used Spring Security for secure token-based access control, ensuring only authorized systems could query sensitive patient data. Improved performance, reliability, and modularity of the system — paving the way for future migration of other PHP services to Java-based microservices.

Contributed to the development of a custom HRMS (Human Resource Management System), covering the entire employee lifecycle — from onboarding and attendance tracking to payroll, bonuses, and exit formalities. Developed modules for employee onboarding, leave and attendance management, monthly salary generation, bonus & increment calculations, and exit workflows. Focused on building backend logic using PHP, structured data models, and MySQL queries optimized for HR records. Integrated role-based access for HR, management, and employees, ensuring data visibility and workflow actions were appropriately restricted. Collaborated with a remote frontend team and helped test REST endpoints and CRUD operations for dashboard and form-based UIs.
