Beachwise (www.beachwise.org) is a non profit social enterprise that is committed to serving the best interests of all beach users across the South Coast of Dorset by promoting beach safety and protection of our local natural shoreline environments. We address the critical need to reduce the risk of harm to beach users, educate and protect them, and actively care for our precious beach ecosystems. We achieve this through; • Providing beach safety education to school age children and young adults • Cold water and sea swimming safety education and support for adults • Providing sun safe activities during the Summer months • Beach cleans to help protect our local natural shoreline environments • Sunrise mindfulness wellbeing and connection to nature sessions Our work results in a community that is better prepared to safely engage with our local beaches while simultaneously maintaining the wellbeing of the natural environment along our shoreline. This includes increased awareness of beach safety practices, reduced litter and pollution on our beaches, and a stronger sense of community stewardship for our beach resources.

Formed and grew a Salesforce services consultancy delivering Salesforce implementation programmes delivered using expert product centric (agile) approaches and leveraging emerging cloud automation technologies.

Independent consultant specialising in Cloud platforms (principally Salesforce) and value centric agile projects and programmes. Assignments included Delivery Director for Sofia Works [Salesforce Partner], Co-founder of Implementation Cloud [Salesforce DevOps automation app], Co-founder of Resource-On-Demand a specialist Salesforce recruitment agency. Notable Achievements. Acknowledged as a European leader in the utilization of the Force.com platform (Salesforce.com 2008). Nominated for and won the prestigious Salesforce "Appy" award in 2008, showcased at Dreamforce 2008. Delivered the first agile Force.com (Salesforce) platform project in Europe.

Turnaround for a struggling software business with operations in North America and Europe, transitioning the business from on-premises to Cloud. Successfully executed the turnaround to stabilise the business (achieving an $8 million turnover and reduced operating costs by 40%) and subsequently restructured it for Cloud platform delivery attaining SAS70 Type 2 accreditation and a 99.8% SLA compliance rate. Resided in North America during this period, reporting directly to the President and Board. Implemented Salesforce to run sales, professional services and support operations. The assignment culminated in the successful sale of the company.

Landmarc Support Services Ltd (LSS) secured a £600 million, 10-year contract to deliver support services to the British Ministry of Defence (MOD) for the Army Training Estate. I joined one month prior to contract start to rescue an operational IT solutions programme, successfully ensuring compliance with operational targets outlined in the contract, and preventing multi-million-pound penalties. Departed after achieving a steady state in the operational delivery of the IT solution for the remainder of the contract.

iQrom Limited, a burgeoning technology company that secured growth funding for the development of innovative interactive multimedia solutions. I joined the executive team to spearhead the expansion of services delivery, overseeing technical project delivery from start-up to establishing a European business with a turnover of £6 million. Exited following the successful sale of the company.
