Introduction

As a freelance frontend web developer with nearly six years of experience, I specialize in building scalable, high-performance web applications that bridge the gap between complex code and seamless digital experiences. I help international brands deliver faster, more maintainable platforms that improve user engagement for thousands of people worldwide. By implementing modern architectures like Next.js (React) and headless CMS integrations, I have consistently transformed legacy systems into type-safe, high-speed environments that drive business growth. Throughout my career, I have led enterprise-scale transformations for major clients such as Krëfel and Straumann, focusing on performance and long-term scalability. I successfully migrated a legacy React webshop to a Next.js and Contentful stack, which modernized the user experience and significantly boosted site performance. For Straumann, I acted as the lead developer to recreate a multi-brand, multilingual platform that streamlined content updates and increased maintainability across their entire digital ecosystem. These projects required a deep understanding of TypeScript, Next.js and scalable web architectures to ensure that the final product was not only visually impressive but also technically robust and accessible. I am most energized when I am architecting complex frontend solutions that solve real-world problems through clean code and intuitive UX. I enjoy working on projects that involve monorepos, headless architectures, and the challenge of making large-scale platforms more accessible and SEO-friendly. My ideal work involves collaborating with forward-thinking teams to push the boundaries of what is possible with React and emerging web frameworks. When I am not deep in a codebase, I enjoy training for difficult challenges outside of work like ultramarathons and Ironmans which as a result keeps me sharp for the challenges I face during work.
