For the last 7 years Jonathan has been the lead consultant within DXC for Zurich Insurance in the area of Performance Engineering, monitoring, reporting and management of major incidents related to performance issues. This role required his input into supporting the continued operation and availability of over 400 servers, running over 100 applications and over 150 database servers running multiple databases across 6 countries and 8 business units. The technology included IIS/.NET Apache Tomcat, HTTP Servers, Kubernetes, Java, JMS, AWS, IBM MQ and many others across different platforms such as Wintel, Linux, AIX. Jonathan also assisted in resolution of issues specifically, for database perforlance on DB2, Oracle and MSSQLServer databases. Jonathan also provided the definition of and assistance in production of monthly reports for Zurich Insurance using Dynatrace to ascertain system behaviour and trends which he presented each month. Jon is a member of DXC Performance Engineering practice. Based in France Jon works on major programmes throughout the UK and Europe. Industry sectors include logistics, banking, insurance, mobile telecoms and defence. Jon uses methods such as assessment, modelling, APM, also adopts best practice measures when working with with standard solutions such as SAP, Oracle EBS, SIEBEL, TiBCO and others. Responsibilities:  Working as a Automated test tool specialist within a larger Test Department, providing automated solutions to various testing requirements as they occur, reporting to a test manager  Provided a standard approach to delivering an automated test solution (be is regression, function or performance testing required)  Providing test plans, test scripts, automated scripts for the following test tasks:-  Web and Wap testing (automated and Manual)  SMS Campaigns Including Big Brother (automated)  MMS Transmission and retrieval (automated)  Handset testing configuring and evaluation  Performance Testing (Web and WAP) using silk Performer  Advising on tuning and configuration setting for BEA Web-Logic servers Achivevements:  Load testing to enable new Materna WAP Gateway to be installed as live WAP gateway instead of original Openwave platform(Silkperformer).  Automated testing of o2 Web registration system and verification OTA using Winrunner for WEB testing QTP for the main web site and monitor master for OTA verification(Silkperformer+ QTP + Winrunner + Monitor Master).  Automated Test scripting and execution and reporting for o2 WAP Active experience, Video Streaming, Downloading, MMS and SMS delivery, Java Games Downloads, Ringtones, Truetones, wallpaper(Silkperformer + MonitorMaster).
