Julien Gazeau

I’m a UI UX Designer with over 10 years of experience, working on SaaS products, digital platforms, and complex interfaces. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with startups and growing companies, helping them shape products that are clear, consistent, and pleasant to use. I care a lot about structure and details, but always with a very pragmatic mindset: design should make products easier to build, maintain, and evolve. I hold a Master’s degree in Digital Art Direction, which allows me to combine creative thinking with strong design foundations. I enjoy working on design systems, complex data, and interfaces that need clarity more than decoration. Most of my work happens through long term collaborations, working closely with product and engineering teams. I like being involved in the day to day of a product, iterating, improving things step by step, and making sure designs actually work once they’re built.

As Head UI Designer at WeAreAnimal, I led a small team of designers, managing design projects and conducting UX workshops. In addition to designing user interfaces, I took charge of overseeing the front-end development of the product. This experience in a foreign country added a valuable layer to my skills.

I joined the passionate team of digital experts at Dev-Insight, bringing my diverse experiences. As a UI/UX designer, I collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the seamless implementation of my designs for both applications and websites.

Under Louis’ leadership and Charles as CTO and co-founder, we began with just three people in an apartment. Our countless hours of work drove substantial growth, expanding the team to 15 members and securing our own office space. In my role, I shaped UI/UX for diverse applications and websites, also overseeing frontend development.

In my first role as a UI Designer and Frontend Developer at Dotgee, I designed interfaces for applications and websites. I implemented these designs through front-end development, Angular and Ruby environments. This experience marked the beginning of my journey in UI design and frontend development.
