DAHER is a French industrial conglomerate. It is operational across the aerospace, defence, nuclear, and automotive industrial sectors in the fields of manufacturing, services, and transport. The branch I am involved in is the aircraft division. It includes the design, manufacture and maintenance of both the TBM and the Kodiak single-engine turboprop aircraft. The project I am in charge of is a solution whose purpose is to deliver fine insights to the pilots about their planes and flights. The aircraft has multiple embedded captors and sensors which are allowing it to collect a huge amount of data. Then transferred either manually or automatically through the network, these data are valued by being processed through "big data analysis" using Microsoft Azure bricks like "Azure Data Lake", "Datawarehouse" or even "Azure DataBricks". In the end, the mobile application delivers information such as behaviour analysis and performances for each part of a flight (takeoff, in-flight, landing, etc.). Moreover, it delivers information about oil and fuel levels, maintenance agenda and many other things. As the whole solution has been originally developed as a POC, I intervene to industrialise it. It includes fresh developments from scratch for each part of it. Like server API, mobile application, cloud infrastructure and the use of DevOps tools with fully automated pipelines. e2m (Energy2Market) is a German power trading company for renewable energies, part of the EDF (Électricité De France) group since 2019. The company has designed a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) which aggregates renewable energies assets to optimise their power production. Assets could be as well as biogas farms, wind turbine or even solar panels. The project I am in charge to lead has to generate optimisation problems to be resolved by powerful algorithms that have been developed for many years by the e2m engineers team. These optimisation problems are built given many heterogeneous technical and financial data which are gathered in many ways with the help of a huge part of generic code. Tako and Tako Pro are applications for professional taxi drivers and their customers. A real alternative to car-sharing services (Uber, Heetch, Captain etc.), Tako allows thousands of passengers to order a taxi in real-time without having to go to a taxi station. I have created and deployed the mobile applications’ architectures, the server backend and the database. I also implemented continuous integration tools in order to industrialize the entire project. Finally, I gathered and led a team to produce the necessary code for the project.
