Design of a new security hub for a media group based on the hub & spoke model documented in the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework. The hub will be the entry point for all Azure-related traffic. Additional services such as Azure Firewall, Azure VPN and Azure DNS will be deployed to ensure the security of the project. The project will be deployed in Azure using Infrastructure As Code (Terraform) and Azure DevOps. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, plan, build, deploy and test of the hub & spoke solution Estimation and outlining of the solutions needed to implement cloud migration as well as continued operations are also part of a solutions architect job profile. Share information and guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices proactively with the team members. For the Shell.AI SelfService project you'll be working with the latest DevOps tooling, like Terraform and Github Actions to create pipelines for delivery of the infrastructure. You'll also be creating scripts in both PowerShell and Bash to deliver the services required. All services use Ping Federate as an authentication mechanism, so knowledge of Open ID Connect (OIDC) is a pre. The service are deployed across both Windows as Linux systems, which requires a solid knowledge on Linux to delivery and troubleshoot the services.

Cloud engineer on a migration project. The focus is on defining and/or delivering modern infrastructure architectures solutions based on the Microsoft Azure cloud and the broader Microsoft technology stack. Your responsibilities include planning, building, deploying, and testing of the desired relationships and operating models across our client's software, hardware, networks, people and operations, to effectively operate in a Cloud oriented environment. Base of the infrastructure was deployed using IaC (Terraform) and Azure DevOps.

Cloud engineer on a migration project. The goal of the project is to build a business case around the move from Microsoft SCOM to Azure Monitor. Infrastructure was deployed using IaC (Terraform) and Azure DevOps. Powershell scripts were also build to install the required agents on the on-premise servers.

Development of a solution to provide a chatbot to Avanade employees. This solution includes two components: the chatbot itself and a portal for the administration. The chatbot uses the power of cognitive services (especially LUIS) to understand natural language from the user in English, French et Dutch. The goal is to complement existing solutions on human resources topics. On the administration portal, the team can manage the answers and improve the chatbot accuracy with LUIS, the Language Understanding Intelligent Service from Microsoft. Some KPI’s are also displayed on the portal to give an overview of the efficiency of the chatbot.
