In brief: Outsourcing and near-shoring proposals in consultation with global internal departments - Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Risk and Control areas. Responsibilities: Developing and managing the outsourcing and offshoring business, legal and regulatory documentation to enable Global Technology workforce plan target of 30% reduction of high costs for the Technology Investment Banking division and across all Application Delivery Technology stream (1000 resources across global locations). Developing strategy to consolidation over 70% of historic offshoring proposals for the Investment Bank Division and established a process and team to execute to achieve greater transparency and reduce administration effort. Establishing project plans, status reporting across to provide govern and control oversight of offshoring documentation process. Highlighting and closing out gaps in the governance and control processes internally.

Responsibilities: Establishing and leading the Business Management team of four within the CIO Infrastructure, Security and Service Management area at Direct Line Group. Function designed and implemented processes to control an annual spend of £650m across 5 years (£220m in 2014) with multiple strategic vendors. Designing contract management framework with Sourcing business partners; Designed, implemented and produced MI to monitor the monthly performance of 3rd party vendors (£30m per annum) which enabled the capture of cost trends, driving service credits and contract changes Assessing operation risk impact of entire Infrastructure portfolio (circa £130m in 2014) and incorporated into business as usual processes. Developing process controls, governance approval frameworks and audit trail for purchase order and invoice management (circa £6m per month) aligned to forecast/budget cycles and headcount control. Planning and managing people elements such as objectives, development plans and appraisals for150 employees across six teams including re-location strategy and seating plan for 200 employee, contract/ supplier resources.

Responsibilities: Managing overall programme management office activity including direction and day to day management of assigned PMO resources. Financial management, RAID, change control definition and management, Integrated planning and dependency management across multiple work streams. Undertaking quality audits across programme work streams to ensure adherence to FCA standards. Secretariat for Project Boards, completing fortnightly Project Status reporting for the programme.
