Emailvision (19th in Truffle 100 2010) is the provider of the CampaignCommander SaaS platform, a multi-channel marketing campaign management tool for email, mobile and social networks. As the R&D Director, I’ve been in charge of: - Building and managing the development team (30 people), in charge of recruitment and budget - Off-shore development team setup (5 people) in Belo Horizonte, Brasil - Architecture of the platform to meet growth: from 600 clients and 6 billion emails in 2007 to 3000 clients and 40 billion emails in 2010 - Daily collaboration with production director to define and create administration, maintenance and deployment tools - Processes definition and setup, from business needs to development and production deployment (Scrum agile methodology) - Product roadmap initiation and definition - Creation of new product features to match market needs (triggered emails, marketing datamart) Technologies: Java/J2EE, Tomcat, Linux, Oracle, Spring, Flex, GWT
