Managing whole Southern Europe business for Zippo in France, Spain, Portugal and Andorra. Getting the reporting done to Zippo Manufacturing Company in Bradford (US) on a monthly basis. Preparing the Year Budget and the follow-up on a monthly basis. Preparing the Financial Statements. Cash management with customers cash collection, suppliers payment, improving the DSO, and managing the currencies and hedging process. Reviewing the contracts with the suppliers. Assisting the General Manager on the Business Development, the Marketing Department on the budget follow-up, and the Sales Department on the DSF targets. In charge of the DPO as well, for the users in Southern Europe.

As EAC GL Leader, I was in charge of reviewing the reporting package of the whole region (Europe, Africa and CIS, including Russia and Kazakhstan) on Hyperion and consolidating them at month end. I managed UK (Dunfermline) closing every month, and was in charge of small reporting packages as for Congo and Gabon. I had also the role of a Finance Manager for the African Region, and managed 4 people (1 Accountant in France working on Egypt and Tchad, 1Chief Accountant in Tunisia working for Cameroon as well, 1Chief Accountant in Algeria and 1 Accountant in Nigeria), although my scope of work was wider. I enjoyed working for FMC Technologies. It was an amazing and very interesting experience to live. It made me discover the oil and gas industry and know more about the business and the geopolitics as well. It made me work with the USGAAP and a lot of Financial Standards, as well as SAP, which drive the work of all the accountants in the group. The projects (such as PCA, ARM, etc...) on which I worked were fantastic to drive and to lead.

I have been working for MasterCard France for two years, in the Financial Department, dealing with the monthly reporting and closing, as well as the SOX accounts auditing. It was a very interesting job, as I worked with a great team, sharing a lot of values, which made me discover a great company. I loved working for MasterCard, and I wished to be able to find a company like it again.

I worked for LG Electronics in the Financial Department, for the IFRS Implementation, with the Head Quarter based in Seoul, following the Internal Audit quarterly testing for all the departments. It was very interesting working for a Korean Company, learning more about korean way of working and culture, which is very important to understand the customers.

My few tasks working for Ipsos were the IFRS adjustments for IPSOS SA (the listed company) and some of it's subsidiaries for consolidation purposes, the consolidation package reviewal of the Middle East and Central Europe, and the Global tax returns for 14 companies, the following of the Transfer Pricing Policy, as well as the preparation the french tax package and the Tax Audits. Working for this Market Research company was great, as it allowed me knowing more about the customers demands and needs. It is important to know better the clients to serve them in the best way.

Working for KPMG was great (Great People, Great Managers, Great Customers,...). It was one of the most interesting part of my career before I decided to run my own business. My job was both audit and accounting tasks, in a wonderful team. I could have stay much longer, if I did not have to leave for personal purposes.
