– Develop a KfW financing mechanism to scale up residential photovoltaics - Component 1 – Modernize the IT system of the National Agency for Energy Efficiency by integrating an MRV system (AMOA) - Component 2 – Coordinate the implementation of program activities (setting up the mixed KfW financing mechanism, implementing the MRV system, preparing meetings with the Ministry of Finance, including local banks before the call for tenders, developing the national communication plan, preparing training programs) – Ensure coordination with the National Agency for Energy Efficiency Results: Officialization of the Program by Order n°2022-4268 of the Ministry of Energy. Installation of 50,000 photovoltaic units for low-income households

– Lead the drafting of the roadmap for awareness and development of renewable energy production at the local level - Component 1 – Audit public lighting management and propose an improvement program with municipal authorities - Component 2 – Evaluate the local potential of renewable energies and municipal governance of public lighting – Develop a plan to improve public lighting and scale up the use of solar energy Result: Improvement of public lighting through the scaling up of photovoltaic energy by 67 MW/year (2019)

– Support the Ministry of Energy in designing the renewable energy framework law and updating the Tunisian Solar Plan. – Study the adequacy of energy policies, regulatory framework, and energy mix to propose coherent long-term objectives Result: Update of the Tunisian Solar Plan and the regulatory framework for renewable energies in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy
