About me

Intro

I’m a Senior Full Stack Engineer passionate about designing robust infrastructure and building AI-driven products end to end. I specialize in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js across scalable, event-driven architectures, and I also work comfortably with Python for automation, data workflows, and LLM-based solutions. Beyond client work, I love experimenting with my own projects—such as CryptoBet (decentralized rental MVP)—and I bring hands-on experience in crypto/Web3 initiatives, including

I collaborate on the design and development of cutting-edge, AI-driven solutions, specializing in data analysis, image generation, chatbots, and advanced system integrations. I leverage technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and Langfuse, using Python and Node.js to deliver scalable, high-impact products. I design robust infrastructures for high-demand systems and asynchronous microservices workflows, and I mentor/support frontend teams to refactor legacy codebases and build scalable React applications from scratch. I also build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deploy services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Led the end-to-end redesign and rebuild of the IRIS Virtual Assistant frontend from scratch using React and TypeScript, aligned with modern UX and accessibility best practices. Modernized the monorepo by introducing Turborepo, defining repository structure, build strategy, caching, and developer workflows to improve speed and maintainability. Migrated and consolidated shared libraries (UI components, utilities, types, tooling), reducing duplication and improving consistency across apps and packages. Implemented and maintained scalable Node.js/TypeScript microservices and APIs to support new product features and integrations. Improved asynchronous, event-driven workflows by enhancing a Pub/Sub-based microservices architecture to increase decoupling, reliability, and throughput for background jobs. Integrated AI capabilities (OpenAI/GPT models) into the conversational platform to enhance customer support experiences and improve response quality and consistency. Collaborated on the integration of WhatsApp as a new communication channel, enabling multi-channel conversational responses and extending the assistant’s reach. Partnered with platform and security teams to strengthen deployment, monitoring, and operational practices on Google Cloud. Coached and onboarded new team members through pairing sessions, code reviews, and best-practice guidance, raising team autonomy and delivery quality.

Participated in the creation of a dApp for the PWBS2022 event, where the world's first NFT flight auction took place. Achieved the integration of Web3 JS with Metamask, enabling user interaction with app offers and auctions. Integrated Onfido's KYC service into our platform, automating processes and creating a tool stack for the operations department to intervene in manual review cases. Part of the team that created a Node JS API for User Registration, Login, Subscription, Unsubscription, and KYM. We also created a microsite with Next JS, Material UI, and Typescript to handle KYC, registration, and login processes, using Cognito for user management. Collaborated in the creation of micro frontends such as the header and footer, minimizing library dependency and enabling branding changes with the arrival of new clients without requiring a full app deployment. Participated in the creation of a Node JS API and a backoffice micro frontend to manage the configuration of various UIs, implementing the Server Driven UI paradigm. This implementation allowed a more agile integration of new clients. Collaborated in the creation of a backoffice with a microfrontend architecture, integrating the backoffices of Server Driven UI, users, and KYC. This architecture was designed to allow each team to add their own administration panel independently, avoiding the need for a blocking deployment to update.

Worked with the client Morfurniture https://www.morfurniture.com, a major e-commerce specializing in online furniture sales, with augmented reality integrations for home previewing. The platform was built using Next JS with React JS and a proprietary UI framework, with Strapi for user management. Leveraging my experience in mobile development, especially iOS, I was able to collaborate in improving the experience on these devices and in the development of new features.

Mercadolibre is one of the major technological unicorns of Argentina and a regional leader in e-commerce, also offering financial solutions with its fintech MercadoPago. MercadoPago is a platform that allows millions of users to make online transactions, becoming the largest fintech in Latin America. Was part of the Digital Accounts team of MercadoPago, Mercadolibre's fintech branch, working on solutions for end users such as virtual wallet, remunerated account, credits, payment gateway, etc. We developed the iOS withdrawals application for multiple countries, including Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. I participated in the integration of the CVU in Argentina, allowing virtual wallets to offer an account number to receive money from bank accounts. Contributed to the money entry section for Brazil and Argentina, allowing the wallet account to be funded with credit card, debit card, bank deposit, money transfer from other users within the platform, cash deposit at collection points, and multiple more funding options. The money withdrawal section was the most challenging, as we updated the old withdrawal platform operating in multiple countries to a new experience, gradually migrating the old solution to a more scalable system. The solutions had to be done in record time and with great scalability to support many user concurrencies. Worked with technologies such as MVP, MVC, MVVM, Repositories, RxSwift, UI Kit, Swift UI, StoryBooks.

Before working as an iOS developer, I worked at Mercadolibre as a full stack engineer. Here, I had the opportunity to work on high traffic and high demand solutions, always focusing on scalability and stability. Initially, I was responsible for reviewing the notifications received by our users to understand the company's policies and team interactions. I participated in the creation of a Node.js microservice to replace an old Groovy application that managed user notifications. Our aim was to migrate the flow from the old API to the newer one, avoiding interruptions in the current MoneyIn and MoneyOut notification flows for users. This allowed us to move to a clearer and more scalable business logic. I collaborated on multiple functionalities like the frontend and the Backend For Frontend (BFF) of money withdrawals, migrating the old monolith to microsites and microfrontends. I integrated an in-house server-side rendering solution with a UI framework in React called Andes, contributing new components to this solution. We designed multiple architectures focusing on resilience, message queuing, monitoring, high coverage testing, and continuous integration.

Olpays was a startup aimed at creating a white label payment gateway. In it, I mainly served as a backend developer, creating various features for two large APIs, one for payments and one for withdrawals. Developed multiple microservices responsible for calculating fees, releasing payments, and releasing funds, using Node.js, Express, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Docker. Integrated an anti-fraud platform called Sift Science, strategically applying blocking rules to prevent the use of stolen or cloned cards and detect patterns of fraudulent users. I also collaborated in the design of the user experience of the backoffices to manage these payments and withdrawals.
