Luis Soares was CRM Delivery Manager in the leading telecommunications operator in the UAE. The CRM project is part of an overall program to deploy a CRM Business solution based in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015. The solution is fully integrated with all OSS and BSS systems of the client, including a customer care call centre.

The objective of Sense & React is to develop methods and reference architecture and software solution to enable intelligent management of manufacturing information in real-time. Sense & React combines a factory wide network of sensors with personal mobile devices of the users, equipped with state of the art Near Field Communication (NFC), Wi-Fi and GPS technology, and intelligent manufacturing information management in real-time. Sense & React is an European project integrating VOLVO (Sweden), ELECTROLUX (Italy), ENP (Portugal), SAP (Germany), ASCOM (Sweden), INTRASOFT International (Greece), EMPHASIS Telematics (Greece), Technisce Universitaet Dresden (Germany), Forschungsinstitut Fuer Rationalisierung (Germany), UNISkoevde (Sweden), University of Patras LMS (Greece) and Instituto Superior Tecnico (Portugal).

Luis Soares was Managing Partner and founder of Mindset Consulting, since the 1st of April 2007. Mindset Consulting is a Microsoft Business Solution Partner, implementing ERP and CRM solutions based in Dynamics NAV, Dynamics CRM and SharePoint platforms.

He was Partner of the Information Communication and Entertainment (ICE) sector and responsible for Enterprise Business Solutions (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, and Siebel) and System Integration group in Portugal. He participated in the following KPMG international practices: eBusiness, Business Performance Improvement, eStrategy, WCIT- “World Class IT” (IT Transformation, IT Governance e Program Management Office) and SAP, Oracle, Siebel and Baan partnerships. During this period he was responsible for the delivery of several IT Enterprise Solution projects, IT Strategy and IT Transformation programmes for major KPMG’s clients. As head of ICE in Portugal, he was responsible for several projects and programmes in all the top Telecom, Cable and Media operators in Portugal.

In 1991 he started up S3, a spin-off software house resulted from the professional consulting services of Compta, as Managing Director. During this period he was responsible for the establishment of several partnerships, namely with Digital, IBM, Sybase, Logica, CAE, EIS Express, Baan and Meta4.

In Compta, one of the largest Portuguese telecommunications and system integration groups where he developed his consultancy skills specifically in the design and implementation of large information technology systems. Prior to the establishment of Oracle in Portugal, he was responsible of all the related consulting and training business of the representation of Oracle in Portugal
