- Define the strategic application orientations in relation with Managers, the businesses, the head office and the general management. - Ensure the unification of application developments in relation with IT infrastructures (COTS and DevOps). - Organize and plan the implementation of cross-functional IT projects (multi-business) from their design to their deployment, relying on internal or external resources. - Support the deployment of the Group application solutions, ensuring their suitability for our environments. - Ensure the follow-up of contractual IT services (deadlines, technical aspects, cost, etc.) as well as that of the procedures, reportings etc. - Contribute to the establishment of a unified integration framework between application development and the administration of IT infrastructures. - Select the development priorities for the IT business taking into account all the economic, technical and human constraints of the company - Contribute to the development, implementation and management of IT security policies. - Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of IT tools, products, projects and services as well as standardized IT models.

Integrate local and regional Database Management Systems and support Exploration Department database needs that pertain to integration with spatial databases. Develop and integrate spatial technologies, design spatial databases and develop GIS deployment strategies. Prepare test data, conduct detailed program tests, and organize parallel system tests according to structured application development process. Ensure that GIS data and products are operational, accurate, available, usable, shareable, integrated, and interpreted for use by end-users. Coordinate maintenance of GIS hardware with IS hardware support.
